Hello Cohhilition!

Deathcounter and Soundboard allows you to create keyboard shortcuts to trigger sound effects and keep count of something (for example deaths in game). Key shortcuts are recognized even if application is not focused.

Image

For each counter you can set:
  • Name - to easily identify counters
  • Path to text file - file where current count is stored and can be used to display it on stream
  • Count
  • Increment - number that is added/subtracted
  • Format - allows you to add custom text to accompany count number
For each sound you can set:
  • Name - to easily identify different sounds
  • Path to one or more sound files, random one will be played any time you hit specified key. Supported file formats are: wma, mp3, wav, ogg, m4a, aiff, and flac
  • Key or key combination - to play this sound
  • Volume - for this sound
  • Loop - whether or not to loop this sound
Presets:
You can create Presets to quickly switch between lists of counters and sounds for different situations, even with keyboard shortcut.

Application allows you to set some more keyboard shortcuts:
  • Select next counter
  • Select previous counter
  • Increment counter
  • Decrement counter
  • Reset counter
  • Pause all playing sounds
  • Continue playing sound
  • Stop all playing sounds
Additional settings:
  • Overlap sounds
  • Select one or two specific sound output devices
  • Enable/disable counters or sounds
  • Display/hide counters or sounds
  • Minimize to tray
Please read:
If you come across any bug, something stops working or the program crashes please create issue here. Include as much information as you can provide (any error messages, what stopped working, what were you doing when it happened, what version you are using...). Usually restarting the program/running it as an administrator helps.

Again, not much to say, but I will anyway, I use it, I love it, now I can add more sound effects, just awesome, I haven't tried the new version yet, but I have one question.

I noticed that when the number of deaths on your program for say "Me" or say, "Companions" are selected, the number turns red and the last death counter I had up turns black, and then if you switch, they reverse colors, nbd really, just changes the color on the overlay, was wondering if there was any way to control the color of the number text (come to think of it, if I could control the color of the actual gui you use, that would be awesome to, I know, nothing is ever good enough eh :P ) for so when I screen capture it I could choose a color or just have one default color for both?

Thanks Again Man, awesome work.

Thanks! :D

So you just want to be able to change the color that highlights selected counter? If that's the case it shouldn't be a problem and I'll include it in the next update. :P

Do you have a website or twitch link or something, I am trying to figure out how to donate you some cash for what you have put together. I tried looking you up on twitch but didn't see anything under your forum name, let me know, and yeah, exactly what you said about the colors, if they all stay one color, like black, when selecting another thing, like sound, that would be awesome :)

Thanks
Blue

You can deselect counter by clicking on empty spot in counters list and that way they all turn black. Maybe that helps until I make a new update.
Well I don't have a website or anything of that sort, but I put in the first post an email to which you can send me donations via PayPal (it is just before Changelog section) and big thanks if you do so :)

Thank you :) .
I am not a streamer and I have never used OBS. So I am not sure, but from what I have found you can add Text Source and select a txt file.
