Starting Game Soon

Hello Everyone. I will be starting Fallout 4 soon and was wondering if anyone has any tips going into it. This will be my first Fallout game, but I do have New Vegas sitting in my steam library. Should I play New Vegas before starting Fallout 4??

The cool thing about fallout is that the games have themes that are across the board (the enemies, the bombs and such) but the main story never really comes in to contact. I don't know much to suggest without giving something away. Good Luck with the game, I hope you have as much fun as I am! Cheers!
