Would love to Join, But even with a 23 month sub I still don't have enough coins.. I guess I have to watch another live 66.6 hours So maybe next year for me can't watch at work. Enjoy everyone else.

You're welcome to RP here but we haven't said it was. Perhaps we'll create another season in which we do some RP if there is more interest!

For now am hoping to run this in carebear PvE mode for several months or more.

This morning a lovely couple logged in to a demolished door and missing material. I also logged in to a destroyed animal pen, a missing/dead boar and two horses. I did hear Bike suggest yesterday that putting pets on a second floor may keep them from agro/harm's way.

Hey, awesome. Dont have enough tokens to get on cohhs servers but really looking to play with fun members of the cohhilition. Joined the elves today. If you are role playing I will role play back but if not I wont bother you with role play. here to have fun and be as nice and fun to others.

my steam nick is Bxe, saw only Rininja when I was on as he has a house next to me. All was quiet besides the wraiths and skeletons, but they provided nice loot

small update: I've changed building structure to have 0.0001 resistance, we have seen three reports of destroyed buildings in an overnight 8-12 hour time frame. This advice from the DnL discord while wild mobs have a tendency to attack buildings. Probably NOT a good setting for PvP servers... and we are PvE on mine.

Thanks for hosting doog. I had the same problem, logged in and half my house was destroyed because I left a tamed animal in my house. I ran into 4 or 5 of you already. Name in game is nova_kain.

My Dark and Light server auto-restarted this morning and did NOT warn everyone online.

Server manager updated to a new version, I hope that will fix the lack of warning/announcements. Will continue to monitor it. Restarts ARE taking place at 5am and 5pm US EDT. (that is GMT -5 hours). It starts a 5 min warning at that hour, restarts at 5 past, reboot takes about 5 minutes.

The server manager I'm using is also under rapid development; it's been updated 3 times in three days to newer versions. Thanks for your patience while the kinks are worked out!

I'm having a bit of an issue. I get to the server browser, but when I try to enter the password, it won't let me click 'accept'... is anyone else finding this issue?

Try to type the password and hit ENTER, don't click the ACCEPT button.

Also I've seen/confirmed with one other person, if you mistype a password, the next login attempt will probably fail. that seems to be the case with ARK and DnL. Worst case, close/reopen the client.

And folks are reporting 1-3 minute login times, esp if you have the game loaded on a hard drive. SSDs are reducing this to 30-60 sec.

You need to just type in the password and hit enter on the keyboard. (doog just beat me to this! lol)

Yeah was hoping to not have to load this on the SSD, but it appears that would be the best idea. I think that will solve a lot of my lagging issues.

* And FYI I built my house on a road for the moment. For some reason it would not let me place foundations in the direction I wanted to go. I will fix that later today when I get off of work .

make sure the text field is still white (like when you are typing) and hit enter.

You have to hit enter when the cursor is still in the password box. IE if you hit a button on the keyboard it will be entered in that section. Took me a while to get this working as well.
