Was kinda hoping for Ruby to overtake Moon, but oh well.

The original games are veeeery grindy, i kinda hoped we would be able to avoid them >_>

Wow, I am somewhat disappointed I have to say. Considering Cohh is someone who's looking for a good story, likes complex game mechanics and tactics you sure make him play the most basic and bland iteration of them all. And why? Because most of us started with that, have nostalgic feelings towards it, want to see their favorite streamer play Red, not considering he might drop it after the charity stream is done because of it's mediocrity.

Or this is just some kind of twisted strategy to make Moon look like a masterpiece.

Moon atleast is the latest franchice and has all the mechanics + pokemon.
Red is just s*it. Better play Oras / BW instead, but chat is only for nostalgia, forgetting that ha Shhe'll probably drop red after 2 hours. Sad. Truly sad. As well as with snap
My strong will to watch cohh play pokemon games (moon is fine) is gonna end up with him playing boring first gen, because genwunners want nostalgia trip for temshelves
Cohh please consider playing Black / White + Omega Ruby / Alpha Sapphire instead of Red/Blue

Uh, don't expect Cohh to like a Pokemon game, whichever one it is. The chances of him playing any of these games for more than the 2h he's required are less than 1%.

I personally wouldn't mind seeing Cohh play one of the newer versions of Pokemon, just for entertainment/viewing pleasure purposes. I haven't seen any of the Sun/Moon stuff yet. I get the appeal of the old stuff but I really don't want to watch a B&W version! Haha.

Will there be a second poll for the second game?

I think cohh playing two games for 2H each will be detrimental to his potential enjoyment of the games and by extension the quality of the stream.
It is like playing the first 2 hours of a final fantasy, a xenoblade or an other JRPG, they haven't really started jet. The pokemon games have slow starts and the stars for all of them are close to identical following this 9 step plan:

1. start the game with cutscene of processor and then get control of game
2. met professor and/or rival
2.5 met the one you didn't meat in the last on
3. get your starter
4. fight rival
5. go to first town
6. get pokeballs
7. get caching tutorial
8. move through the first zone
9. fight gym one

Playing one for 4 will get him into 8 and 9 and potentially past them but playing 2 for 2 means he will be repeating the exact same thing for most of the stream (step 1-7), especially since he isn't experienced with the game (experienced can get past these 9 in about an hour or so while first timers take a lot longer)

never really been interested in Pokémon games but cohh might make it interesting do sun and moon, black and white.

Picked Ruby out of lack of choices, my first pick would be Colosseum for sure because for a 2 hour stream it is more interesting/engaging that the early hours of the main series, most Pokemon games have very slow and similar intros. My other pick would be emerald but for some reason it's not on the poll even though yellow is...why?

Like many have commented, if he chooses Pokemon REd, please do the Fire Red version since it is more suited to streaming than original red

@nuuriell So I recently started playing Pokemon Ultra Moon, and I want to change my vote (I know the poll is closed) I originally voted for Moon cause of all the new features and it's the most recent in the generational games. After playin it for about 5 houra I hate it. It is so childish. Previous games I would describe as "For All Ages", but not this one. As a lover of pokemon since I was 6 yo I have to consider that Cohh would find this one childish and annoying also, since he's kinf of had an aversion to the franchise already. I want him to love the games like I and many of us have. I can't recomend doing that with a game that find annoying. Also, I'm trying to sell my copy of Ultra Moon; that's how much I hate it.

Also, I have to agree with those saying it sho7ld be Fire Red rather than gen 1 red. I've seen some gen 1 streams and it looks rough. I don't think Cohh would have an issue with the graphics, but many viewers probably will. Also, there were many bugs and glitches fixed in Fire Red from gen 1. It would be disappointing to see Cohh come across a bugged move combo or item glitch that breaks the game (and there were a lot in gen 1).

On my previous commen about Moon/Ultra Moon, I saw someone suggested like a runoff vote for the 2nd game. I sec9nd that. I think we should have a 2nd vote for the second game with the gen 1 games rempved from the vote since Red has already been voted in. Then we'll see where the chips fall. If it turna out still being gen 7 again, then we'd just have to accept that (and I'll shudder in terror the whole 2 hours of the stream )
