Hi, everyone!

As we all know, Cohh has a lot of gaming going on. Since it's easy to be confused on what he'll be playing we're going to try to keep people updated on (potential) games he'll be playing each week. This week (August 17 - 23) the games are:

Yakuza 6
Mortal Shell

Cozy streams:
Risk of Rain 2

Please keep in mind that this list could change at any time.

Every so often Cohh hits a point where he isn’t sure what he’ll play next. Sometimes it’s due to finishing a game quickly, other times it’s simply needing to fill an open spot on the schedule.

Needless to say, that’s a good problem to have.

As Cohh found himself completing two games on the same stream, he began trying to plan content for the next streams. Thanks to suggestions from chat a return to “Remnant: From the Ashes” joined the rotation as DLC was released on Thursday.

While there were questions, everything fell into place perfectly. The cherry on top was the announcement by Cohh that he’ll be jumping into the Wasteland early on Aug 27.

Before we look ahead to the week that’s coming, let’s take a final glance at last week that began with a familiar face.

Yakuza 6

Over the weekend we got to see the return to, and possible conclusion of, Kiryu’s story. The last time we saw these characters a lot was left up in the air.

A massive cliffhanger kept people asking when would Cohh return to the franchise as people wanted to know the fate of the beloved protagonist, who was last seen bleeding out in the snow.

Needless to say, the 7th installment in the franchise did not disappoint. Laughs were had and tears were shed. Of course, the rage and the derp was there too. We are talking about CohhCarnage remember!

As the story began to wrap up one could sense how these characters would remain with people. Cohh began the Yakuza franchise in 2018 with Kiryu and company, and stated numerous times after conclusion that the ending would stick with him for a while.

With “Yakuza: Like a Dragon” set for a November release, Cohh wanted to finish the latest installment before his schedule picked up. Now we are stuck waiting to see what is up next for the characters that have been mainstays in this entertaining franchise.

He didn’t give a thoughts video on the game, as he generally doesn’t for older games, be sure to check out the complete playlist!

Mortal Shell

Thanks to Playstack giving Cohh a key, the channel got an early look at the newest Soulslike experience.

A game developed by a small team, Cohh labeled the game as a sort of “Diet Souls.” This meant that the game had a lot of potential and good parts. However, it did leave a lot to be desired. DLC or expansions could only make the game better.

Mortal Shell was a very short game as he beat the final boss early in the second day of streaming it. He didn’t escape a few troll endings. One example was a musical serenade that panned out to show monsters creeping in as the screen faded black.

While you can simply go here for his thoughts, you can simply check here for the complete playthrough!

Remnant: From the Ashes

Cohh first played Remnant in August of last year, and really enjoyed it. It was only appropriate to jump back into the game when DLC released Thursday.

Similar to the first time he played, BarryCarlyon teamed up with Cohh. This second playthrough also brought Kleinnix into the fold to form a formidable three-man team, if you want to call it that.

The playthrough got some extended play as the trio didn’t jump straight into the DLC. The goal was to replay the main story as a sort of refresher on gameplay and lore.

A joke started in chat when Cohh declared in frustration that he would not play hard mode in game with mods again. Obviously, they wanted to just defeat a boss, but the damage was done. In typical Twitch chat fashion, people rushed to the defense of the mods and pointed out Cohh’s derps. It was all around hilarity, and one of the best-selling points of the Cohhilition.
