Hi, everyone!

As we all know, Cohh has a lot of gaming going on. Since it's easy to be confused on what he'll be playing we're going to try to keep people updated on (potential) games he'll be playing each week. This week (October 19 - 25) the games are:

FEAR 3
Horror Games

Cozy streams:
TBD

Please keep in mind that this list could change at any time.

Variety is the spice of life. If you know CohhCarnage you know variety is his calling card for streaming. This week was a prime example of just that.

Horror games stayed on the menu as we saw the third chapters of “Amnesia” and “F.E.A.R.” start the week off. This genre didn’t have a complete hold on the week as Doom Eternal’s first DLC wrecked Cohh’s face. There was also a certain game he lent his voice to, and we heard it pretty early in the story too. :cohhWow:

So, you see variety started to creep back in as we march towards the last week of NOPEtober. Will variety continue or will the horror genre wrap its claws around the stream in one final grasp? That’s for us to find out together.

While we enjoy the week that is, let’s take a look back at the week that was. It’s time for your weekly review!

Amnesia: Rebirth
Lost in the Desert

Tuesday saw the heavily anticipated playthrough of “Amnesia: Rebirth” begin.

In this third chapter, Cohh controlled Tasi a French archaeologist. The game begins after a plane crash leaves her with a bout of amnesia. Fitting.

Tasi talked to herself often, and eventually we find out she’s pregnant. Gradually she begins speaking more to her child, even needing to comfort it in numerous situations.

She displayed nyctophobia, as the longer she stayed in the dark the quicker her sanity would drop. Jump scares would quickly remind you to find some light, which could be as simple as a match.. :cohhBlind:

Tasi’s child, Amari, played an integral role in the story that we come to understand as she regains her memory. Cohh completed the game in roughly eight hours, and checked out all three endings to the game.

Solasta: Crown of the Magister
Early Access Adventures

The latter half of the week saw Cohh check out a game he backed on Kickstarter. When “Solasta” entered Early Access on Steam, he dove in to have his first look.

A D&D Fifth Edition game, Cohh was first tasked with making a party to begin his adventures with. For the brief look he decided that BarryCarlyon, Triwar, and nuuriell would team up with him. What did classes did he choose for the team? You can’t just be spoiled here! You need to watch the playthrough! :cohhT:

Don’t be such namby pambies. Right, Cohh? :cohhHi:

If you don’t understand that reference or want to see an early look at “Solasta,” YouTube has you covered.

Doom Eternal: The Ancient Gods
Part One

In the first DLC for the latest in the “Doom” franchise, Cohh had to fight through relentless demons that aimed to stop him at every corner, step and anyplace they could.

To chat’s enjoyment, Cohh got his face beat in repeatedly. The rage was there too, but he soldiered through it and admitted to having tons of fun.

At one-point Cohh encountered a bug that made him invincible. After steamrolling through a wave of enemies, he glanced at chat who pointed out the issue. After a quick reload the beatdowns, the rage and fun continued. :cohhR:

Your mission is to basically fix what was broken after the events of the main game. Your actions caused an imbalance which allowed demons to wreak havoc, forcing you to clean up the mess.

Catch up Cohh’s return to “Doom” on YouTube and see why he was left hanging at the end.

F.E.A.R. 3
Final Chapter

As Cohh worked through the “F.E.A.R.” franchise, a debate continued in chat as if he should play the final game of the trilogy.

Thankfully he did jump into the third game, even commenting after completing it wishing there was a fourth game. Cohh said there were moments in gameplay that were lackluster, and the game itself was weird. After giving his thoughts, he went to watch the second ending of the game. :cohhNani:

“F.E.A.R. 3” steers away from its predecessors in the idea that it can be played in offline co-op, as you control either Point Man, from the original “F.E.A.R.”, or Paxton Fettel. If played solo, you control Point Man on the mission of tracking down their mother, Alma. The only chance to play as Fettel comes once you beat the game the first time. :cohhHmm:

To see Cohh’s daylong adventure and reaction to the second ending, YouTube has you covered.

Locked Up
Horrific Confusion

Sunday afternoon, Cohh took a two-hour look at this game from EMIKA_GAMES.

Using a camera, your mission is to uncover the dark mysteries at a house you find yourself trapped in. For most of the game you are walking back and forth down a corridor to understand what exactly happened there.

The game does jump around from past to present as not just the scenery changes. The date located in the bottom left of the recording helps place you incase you’re lost. :cohhWaii:

If you missed this game it needs to be brought to your attention that this game has numerous strobe light effects. Early on many in chat were commenting on the lights flashing too much as some even left to come back later in the game.

If you’re interested in this psychological horror, the playlist is located on YouTube.

VOD Deletions
Playing it Safe

As many of you know or have followed over the past couple of months, there has been a storm brewing with DMCA claims. Twitch ultimately wasn’t ready for this, and gave streamers the option to delete all of their clips.

Things quieted down until last week streamers were notified that Twitch would again begin processing these claims forcing many streamers to make hard and sad decisions. :cohhFeels:

To avoid any potential issues, Cohh decided to have everything he could be moved to YouTube and to delete all past VODs on Twitch. Remember this is his livelihood, as he cares for his wife and two children. He needs to play it safe. :cohhL:

That means not just VODs were removed. Cohh deleted all clips on Twitch, and even took sound bites off his soundboard. To hear his thoughts on the matter, click here.

There are a lot of questions, and not enough answers right now. Once we know something, the members of the Cohhiltion will know as well.
