Quite simple really, I've seen the posts about the Heralds of Carnage FC on the NA datacentre servers and was wondering if there was an EU branch or equivalent?

If not, what would the interest be like in starting one?

Well, it may just suite those that are currently in EU and wish to stay on the EU data center. However don't be mistaken there are there are EU player's on the NA server.

I can confirm the game is very playable on NA server. I usually run with 150-200ms ping, which can be considered uge for some folks. But it doesn't prevent me from running out of AoE

The game is actually designed around ~200 ms ping, so it can be very forgiving for stuff like that.
