Relatively new, but willing

Hey, myself and the girlfriend would very much like a campaign to get into. I've done a few on and off and have character creation pretty down, but RP and things following that are pretty meh. I'd like to learn, and gf would be 100% first time. Now that Christmas break is happening, I'll have a lot of down time to play games and hopefully do DND. She works and has a weird schedule, but would anyone be willing to take us under their wing and try to have fun?
