Hey guys,

I am currently trying to find a desktop build (around 1300 euro) which fits my needs.
I currently found this build to be kinda OK? : https://tweakers.net/gallery/714200/wen ... id=1358233
Overclocking : NO
Windows: I am a student so I can download it for free :)
Games: LOL, dark souls3, witcher 3, PUBG, Outlast 2 etc. (Triple A)
The only problem is that im doubting whether i should wait for the Graphics card prices to drop.
--> Stupid miners. Since Saphhire rx580 = card

I hope this is quite a good build and that you have some remarks that can help me :)
Thank you for your time!

I built my computer couple months ago, here is what I put together. Prices are from Estonia and couple months old, so keep an eye out for those as well ;)

Motherboard: PRIME X370-PRO ASUS | 163€
CPU: AMD Ryzen™ 7 1700 | 355€
GPU: ASUS ROG STRIX Radeon RX580 OC 8GB GDDR5 PCIE ROG-STRIX-RX580-O8G-GAMING | 326€
PSU: Seasonic M12II EVO Edition M12II-620 Bronze | 67€
RAM: KINGSTON MEMORY DIMM 16GB PC19200 DDR4FURY HX424C15FB16 | 137€
Case: Corsair Graphite Series SPEC-01 Mid-Tower | 52€
HDD: SEAGATE BARRACUDA 1TB 7200RPM SATA III 64MB | 49€

I overclocked CPU to 3.6 GHz and manage to run PUBG all Medium with 110 scaling around 50-60 FPS.
Note that you probably want to go dual channel with RAM, I currently bought only 1.

Although Ryzen goes agains your Overclocking NO mark, I'd still recommend to do that, it's actually not that hard! But if not, then maybe someone else can put good Intel build together.

Thanks for response and what an awesome cohhmunity this is!
I will check out the list in a few days, is there anything to say about my list?
And what about the graphics card price issue due to miners --> Wait or not?

Thanks in advance!! :)

For your build, I'd definitely go for stronger PSU (better to have a bit more, than on the edge). Also, I heard, that Seasonic PSUs are pretty good.

Your RAM is 2666MHz so you need to OC it in BIOS (since it is not supported by default). But since Ryzen benefits from faster RAM, then you should look into that. And get 2 sticks, if you can. 16 GB of RAM should be minimum to go (I hit around 8 GB and more when playing PUBG). Also 2 rams (dual channel) gives small speed boost. (2x8GB is fine) or 2x16GB if you can spend "a bit" more :)
Also you should make sure, that your motherboard has this RAM as supported on datasheet (didn't find the list at the moment). I theory every RAM should be okay, but this gives layer certainty, that RAM works well.

Otherwise you should be pretty okay with this current build ;)
