So hello every pc lover here in cohhlition.
I am building first pc and currently i need some input where i should change and maybe save some money also in long run.
As you can see from my pcpartpicker part list i am in need of input considering CPU, Memory and monitor. I am trying to make future proof pc that will serve me dutifully until i scrap it for parts and build yet another pc.
Currently i am playing between AOC- G2770PF 27inch and samsung c27fg70 27 inch(linked specs) monitors. Which i should buy when i want price and quality to meet and be balanced.
Also should i drop i7-7700k and take another skylake cpu? Should i drop 16gb and only put 8 gb in when i want to try out same games that cohhcarnage has tried on last 2 years?

I'll try to offer some input. When it comes to monitors, I honestly love whatever is 144hz, howevers its your call on that end.

In terms of future proofing, the intel i7 7700k is going to be your best bet, as regardless of what intel may say at this point, they aren't making much improvement in thier processors with the next generation the X299 boards. Stick with 7700k, its the best bang for your buck, and great for gaming.

I recommend 16GB of RAM for most machines, especially for gaming. Even though chances are you'll never use it, having more than you need is better than having a bottleneck. And since you are trying to future proof, 16 is the way to go.

I hope this helped! Feel free to ask questions as needed. Have a great day!
