Ok i have a sound blaster audiology 5 card, drivers i've updated, but i know there has been a Windows update, the Mic wont work register on that card like it used to, or the on board card for the Motherboard. So help please

Have you tried loading the card with an older driver?
i know this solved similar issues with earlier win10 updates.

W10 in a recent update did something wack with security/privacy around mic's check that and see if it will behave
