any and all input is welcome.

I have never built with Intel I have always built with AMD but the price difference isn't what it used to be. I want to start to streaming again and want to know if this will be "future proof" enough for the next few years. thanks

Current PC is a FX-4170, HD 6850, 32mb Corsair XMS ram. SO anything will be an improvement.

Looks like a good setup. If you do plan to later add a second GPU I would recommend a little more powerful PSU. Also if you do decide to switch back to an AMD build (do not recommend being an Intel fan boy) keep in mind that the Samsung 840 Evo is not fully supported on AMD platforms.

When I get home I'll post my specs. I just finished building my dream rig last month. Think the overall cost was $3k but well worth it.
