Window's 8 "Tiles"

Can some IT Expert help :P
When i try to load a windows 8 tile (e.g The Store tile)
It just loads a blank, blue screen ! This is the same with any other Windows related tile :3

I would love to help, but I don't have Win8 myself. I would think that it is a pretty big installation error (perhaps from upgrading to Win 8.1).

What I would do (apart from installing Win7 and living a happy life) is this :
Open the Desktop
Save all relevant info/pictures/music/documents on an external drive/USBstick and then simply re-install Win8 (or activate the recovery partition if you have a laptop, for a complete system reset) and then hope/pray that the win 8.1 upgrade takes better the 2nd time around and you avoid these errors.

I've done this a few times with ppls laptops and it's worked decently.

Do you know if this is a problem that has occurred because of me or just the software ?

It can very well be a result of a botched 8.1 patch update or patches before this. It is NOT an uncommon thing
