Bomberman for Sega Mega Drive. One of the first games I ever played with friends, it was glorious. As glorious was of course the Super Mario for SNES. Later on.. dun dun dun.. Golden Eye for N64, which was absolutely brilliant. So many great times with friends.

A Link to the Past (SNES), Chrono Trigger (SNES), and Alundra (PS1). Man, those were the days... *hums All in the Family theme-song*.

The very first Myst. My siblings and I gathered around our old Mac to try and beat those damn puzzles!

Oh that's a hard one!
So many good memories, but I think the most remarkable is
Super Mario World (NES) I had to go to my neighbors' to play it but it was so much fun! All those kids fighting for a moment with the controller hahahaha
Also
Zelda - Ocarina of Time (Nintendo 64... that one was all mine). Now I have it on my 3DS with a bunch of other classics... All the love

Absolutely!

Hahaha
It was sooo hard to bring games to Brazil when I was a kid... All we had was that Mario
We usually had 1 console in the neighborhood (the rich kid)... Oh dat hard but fun times
Now I don't really care much about consoles. I like PC
The 1st game I ever played in a PC was
UFO: Enemy Unknown but it was just too hard for me (a little kid).
It end up being my father's game actually

With some time he made me a fan of strategy games.

Ahhh XCOM right?! The old school one is pretty sweet and if you like strategy games, I highly recommend the remake, XCOM: Enemy Unknown if you haven't played it already. One of my favourite squad based strategy games.
And yes, PC's are the way to go

. Only reason I have a console is because my friends own one.

Of course I've played
XCOM: Enemy Unknown and the
Enemy Within expansion!!! I love it
♥
The only one I didn't like that much was the
The Bureau one (
Declassified)... kinda Shooter(ish) I don't really like Shooter games that much.
But for some random reasons I love
BioShock since
System Shock years. The story-line it's what catches me in that game (also big fan of RPG you can tell).
It seems like everything is turning into shooter this days... I'm totally Ok with shooter. I just don't like to see other styles turning into shooter.
Look at
Dead Space for example! This game used to be so
claustrophobic... That constant
survival / fear / resources management feeling... Now there is so much focus on shooting, so much light, open space, you can even farm stuff with that new weird save system.
Anyways if someone can have fun with it I think it's a "win win" change, just not for me :p But that's not a problem, I just find something else to play...
Ooohhhhhh but the multiplayer in
Dead Space 3 is nice. I mean an
inside the actual game multiplayer, not that random thing they did with
Mass Effect 3 oh God why? hahahaha
I think
3 is a cursed number...
Diablo 3 now it's getting better without the AH, but no offline solo game yet, and no real reward for playing it in the higher difficult levels...
Path Of Exile on the other hand is doing it right, but GGG doesn't have their own engine so they have some limitations.

I still need to try out the Enemy Within expansion. Looks really good! Just never had the chance to get to it.
And yes, the "Shock" series are incredible games. Both from a gameplay perspective and a story perspective. I think the reason everything's turning shooter is because it's more accessible. Money is what makes the world go round and throwing out shooter after shooter can make a fair bit of money. I mean look how long they've stretched out the CoD and Battlefield series. Teenagers scoop those up like candy. It's hard to find a solid shooter nowadays that has it's own unique feel, at least from a single player perspective. It seems there's a recipe that a lot of companies follow because that's what people are used to and that's what'll make the most money.
Path of Exile is definitely a great game and it's one of the few free to play games that I feel no pressure in purchasing things. Plus their spell/skill system is great. I played Diablo 3 Pre-AH update when it first came out but I haven't had the chance to jump back in. I heard it's much better now so I might have to but we'll see haha.
