I myself am very much opposed to pre purchasing games, besides the gameplay video that i saw didn't impress that much. We'll see when it comes out.

I know what you mean but it is getting harder to not pre-purchase with the extra incentives that many developers are adding, especially when you plan on making the purchase anyways. I usually like to wait until the reviews start pouring in but in this case I did like the first in the series so I thought it would be a safe bet for my tastes.

Gameplay videos aren't really a good way to see if you want to purchase the game or not, Payday is the type of game you have to play to really see if you enjoy it or not.

I'm getting it on the xbox, but i didn't preorder it, and since it is only $40 on the xbox, people went nuts for it and so they are out of stock, so i have to wait till at least September 3rd to get it, but that's alright cause i need to beat the rest of the games in my library.

I would love to get it for the PC, but those types of games i would much rather prefer for Xbox. I've gotten used to the controls for it, and it helps for me to have a big screen for that

Now to HOPE they fix the re-re civilian AI. Tired of losing $8,000+ on some contracts because the civilians decide to play tag in the street when there is a full blown war going on. Seriously, it is the main reason why I get angry at this game.

On another note, the game gets about 100x more enjoyable when you play with friends. Had a blast playing with Ouro and AlphaTroll earlier.
