Maybe a mixed build where he uses dualSwords or Katana and Kusarigama where he uses both weapons equally!
Also going for a Hearth and Dexterity build!
Love to see some light armor with this build
since the light would work good with high mobility for both swords and Kusarigama.

Oh and in the Spirit of a true Ninja you cant wear a Helm so we can see that Hair <3
and you will be using ninjitsu a lot!

I may be over thinking it, but I feel this would be a hell of a run:

Weapon of choice: Sword / Sickle and Chain
Armor: Any armor will do. If the warrior comes across an enemy against whom speed would be preferred, the samurai will use light armor and vice versa in order to ensure victory. After all, there no honor in armor, only in the Sword.

Restrictions:
1)You are a samurai, and every samurai has a sword that is an extension of himself, a part of his being.
You will fight with any sword you encounter until you find Your Sword (the first purple rarity sword) at which point, this will be the only sword you will ever wield (can still be upgraded at blacksmith).
However, as this sword is a part of yourself, why should it bathe in the blood of weaklings, or cut through the Ki of minor yokai? No, this sword is destined for much greater things and as such, it will only be wielded against the mightier of foes, whose death will please and cease the thirst of your blade.
Against the swarms of enemies that stand in your way, you will not remove the sword from your scabbard. Instead, they will perish to the Sickle, so alike to the Shinigami of the West, and the Chain that restrains all those who oppose you.
2) A samurai will not lower himself to use firearms. A weapon that kills from afar is too clean and has no honour.
3) Bows can be used, but only when no other way to reach an enemy presents itself.
4) You have no knowledge of magic ways, but you require it not, as you are a master swordsman, with an adept knowledge of Ninjutsu.
5) Guardian spirits - ah, fickle beasts. It will only come to your aid either when out of healing items and below 50% health OR if so under attack you are unable to heal, within inches of death.
6) Stats can be divided as the warrior sees fit, but Body can never be the highest Stat, as no warrior fears Death.

When you ask this question, there is only one answer:

Dual. Swords.

Kusarigma + Light armor.

I'd actually be super interested in seeing him do a Dual Swords run, while focusing secondly on Omnyo (Magic). Would be cool to see.

I vote Kusarigama and Light Armor. With the Hand Cannon as the ranged weapon.

I'd quite like to see a single katana and heavy armour run.
