Still got roughly a year to see if yo ulike those games enough to give ESO a skip.
You have a point. I still await for the day an Elderscrolls game has co-op. Ever since I stumbled across an old man on a stranded island in Morrowind talking about multiplayer, I have always wanted it to be true.

A co-op TES game would be odd since it's always based on you being the chosen one pretty much, they'd have to make you out to be some regular schmuck!

Well, RPG games are mostly based on you being "the one". And there are alot of them being multiplayer material, so I cannot see, what the difference would be with this one. ;)

As it was mentioned in the chat (sorry that I do not recall who), there will be shown footage about Elder Scrolls: Online later today, the August 2nd on www.twitch.tv/bethesda at 5:30 PM GMT.

"Check out the first streamed gameplay of The Elder Scrolls Online, live from QuakeCon 2013! Don’t miss never-before-seen areas as ZeniMax Online Studio’s creative director, Paul Sage joins other members of ZeniMax Online Studios team to show off the latest chapter in the Elder Scrolls saga."

After watching the gameplay ESO does look ok, but I've gotta admit.. EQNext stream blew it out of the water.

I'll be looking into it since I'm a huge Elder Scrolls fan, I hope I'm not disappointed.

I hope they dont slaughter the lore too badly. Kinda hurt hearing the "soul gem = resurrection" thing.

I just can't wait to see the big bosses in the game, because i know there will be a boss that is huge in size and nearly unbeatable.

Probably because it didn't look very exciting when they did the live stream.

Honestly I hope its good, and if it looks good and people end up playing it I will probably pick it up, but this is by no means an immediate buy for me.

Fluxusstv wrote:So, as it is right now, in Spring 2014, the famous Elder Scrolls game, The Elder Scrolls: Online will be released.

Out of curiousity, are you going to be playing or, if so, what makes you want to play it? Gameplay, lore, graphics etc.
If not, then what makes you not want to try it out or play it at all?

Cheers,
Flux
I've heard they will be adding a subscription fee to play, so I no longer feel that the game is worth the money. :\ I would've played if there was no fees.

I will prolly try it as I do every MMO but housing is so important to me in MMO's and I mean in a Star Wars Galaxies type way...I want to be able to drop anywhere in my house and move any item I loot in game to be placeable in my house...so chances are I will not like ESO lol
