I'm not sure if it was the same makers but I do know that they both were made bu Capcom... so it could be. they do have similar feels but with sword play and a history mashup story line.

Afraid of Monsters DC is a superb Half-Life mod. I implore you check it out for some nopes and aaaaa's

http://www.moddb.com/mods/afraid-of-monsters-dc

Example of afraid of monsters, a walkthrough with no commentary:

at around the 4 minute mark you will notice this game is no slouch in nopes. A couple of good jumps as well.

I'll also add the game Stasis as a recommendation, an amazing game for 2015 and definitely scary.

I'll suggest "This Book Is A Dungeon" which came out recently on steam. Seems like it'd be a nice bout of rather horrific stuff.

Hi Cohh I would recommend Silent Hills (not hill) for PS4 . This is the scariest game I've ever seen.

That'd be called P.T. Unfortunately, it's been pulled from the Playstation Network and isn't even available for re-download. So I think it'd be pretty hard for Cohh to come by a copy of it. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but Konami burned all the bridges when they had their spat with Kojima. They even aggressively shut down anyone selling PS4s with P.T. still on them. =(

Aliens vs Predator, the original one was full of excellent atmosphere and lots of jump scares and might fit Nopetober quite well,

Too lazy to search through posts but I'm sure they've been suggested. Resident Evil 3 and Silent Hill 3!!!! SH 3 is the only one I've beaten, it's creepy as all hell

Since you've enjoyed RE and SH so much the Parasite Eve series is definately worth a look.
