UK Game Plague INC raises £50k for Ebola Relief

British developer Ndemic Creations have revealed that its popular PC and mobile game Plague INC has raised over £50,000 ($76,000) for Ebola Relief.
The successful game sees gamers taking control of a brand new fictional virus, and tasks them with spreading the plague around the world as quickly as possible. Unsurprisingly, the game saw a massive surge in users since the rise of Ebola, inspiring the developers to code in a link to raise awareness about the awful real-world epidemic.

The in-game link gives players the chance to find out more about the horrific disease, and also allowed players to donate to Ebola Relief - which according to game creator James Vaughn gamers did in droves:
