The Cohhilition

Hey guys I recently upgraded some parts in my PC to fit a new gaming and streaming vision. The install went well (It turned on first try which for a first time builder I am happy with) and I did a clean install of Windows as suggested by many people to optimise all the new parts. I have added a new Motherboard, an i7 and a GTX970 to my build however I am now getting a lot of lag within windows and within games as well. With this build I should be able to play pretty much anything I like on atleast high with no problems however once I get moving around there is serious frame drop.

As stated above as well I am experience some serious Windows lag as well and it feels like I have taken a step back instead of forward with my build. I have, to my knowledge. installed all the correct drivers and software for my new parts so I dont know what the problem is and I am getting rather frustrated as I would love nothing more to load up any game and go charging in head first in full glorious graphics!

Sounds like something with the windows install didnt go correctly, thats where i would start first.

Yeah I've had that suggested a few times now so will start there but I don't know what to look for...should I just do another clean install?
