i hope i'm posting this demand at the right place, if not, i'm sorry.

i've reinstall fallout new vegas again on my computer, and i'm having an enraging problem, i've try to look for a solution on a lot of site but i've got no solution so far.

here's the problem .. i start my game, and everything is find, but after a few minutes, i can't click in the main menu, inventory and dialogue with npc , i can still click to choose on the pipboy status, item and data, i can also use weapon when i'm not in the menu but everything else is no use, i see the mouse pointer, but when i point an item or a choice in a conversation, there's no highlight and no click.. i can still use the keyboard but when the npc have 20 lines of text before you can make a choice.. it's very long conversation and it's a bit discouraging. If i restart the game, the problem is gone but keep coming back after a few minutes, and sometime less than a minute. with or without mods, the problem is still there.

i'm posting here in hope that maybe someone could help mewith this issue.

i don't understand this problem ... today i went and buy a gamepad (logitech 710) .. once at home, plug the gamepad in, and it automaticaly detect fallout NV ... i gave it a try ... works fine ... then i try to turn off the gamepad option in the game ... and played for 2 hours without the previous problem .... i wasn't using any gamepad befor and the game never show the option ... now that i have one .. it show the option and the problem seems to have been fixed ... i'll play more and come back if the problem is back. thanks and if that help someone, good
