As of Wednesday September 16, the first phase of our leveling perks has gone live.

The most important part of this phase is the giveaway modifiers. As you level up you will increase your chances of winning giveaways by receiving more entries the higher level you go.

Level 2 == + 2 entries
Level 4 == +4 entries
Level 6 == +6 entries
Level 8 == +8 entries
Level 10 == +10 entries

Every level after level 10 receives an additional entry per level. For example, someone who is level 20 would receive:

• 1 entry by default
• 20 entries for their current level
• TOTAL: 21 entries into a giveaway

There are more leveling perks coming soon and will keep you updated as those roll out.

My question is; does Experience only come from tokens, or are/will there (be) other ways to get exp?

Currently experience only comes from tokens. There will be other ways to earn it in the near future.

Since the system is in motion, got a practical question: Does the amount of entries (mentioned in the final bot message) include those additional ones from level bonuses ?

i see my tokens.. but where do i see my level ? do i get 1 level everytime i reach 2k tokens or?

Will this also be for hugeaways?

That is really cool! The amount of work that Tech Team 6 (pretty sure that is their name) does in this community just boggles the mind. I don't even do that much work for my JOB!....don't tell my boss I said that.

Great to hear there will be additional ways to earn EXP. Expect it will be related to community interaction via forums or other means. Can't wait to see what else is in store for the level system moving forward, such a great idea!

Question: Will the new system be non-optional for all GAs? Currently the donor has the option to require a sub-only GA, for example, but would it be possible to request an 'equal chances' GA in future? I was just wondering as a semi-frequent donor.

No. The giveaway modifiers are specifically for the in-channel giveaway system. The Hugeaways are different, as they have the web portal entry (so anyone can enter, non-subs included) and use a different roll system.

Currently there is no plan for this.

You should see your level at the very top of the page. It should list your Current/Lifetime tokens, your hugeaway status, and then your current level. If for some reason your level is not showing, please let me know and I can look into it. Your current level is calculated by your lifetime tokens / 2000.

it says i'm level 0 with 1200/2000? how many points do you need for each level?

2000 tokens for each level.
