Hello everyone,

I wanted to share an IndieGoGo campaign for Indivisible by Lab Zero, who have created the Skullgirls fighting game. This time they are crowdfunding to create a RPG & Metroidvania styled game that with a really interesting battle system where you can combo different characters moves together. They have a prototype already up for direct download, on playstation 4, and also on steam that you can play an see how it plays for yourself.

There is only a few days left but they are very close to reaching their goal.

I really get the impression that they bit off more than they can chew. Hedging their bets on a one-and-a-half million dollar fixed funding goal is incredibly ambitious. They're only just past two-thirds the way there, and the only have nine days left. If this project doesn't meet the goal, it won't be from lack of advertisement either. There are numerous posts on forums and social media gaining huge amounts of views, reblogs, shares, etc.

I worry when I see numbers like that on an all-or-nothing project. The project already has a game engine, a huge number of art assets, and much of its design complete; these things take up a huge part of the development process already. It reminds me of the unfortunate failure of 38 Studios during the massive project that was Kingdoms of Amalur. Too much money was needed too fast, and even though a great game was out and making waves it wasn't enough.

Yeah I'd have to agree with you Maven, but I'm really hoping that there is some way for them to be able to make it. I do find it crazy that the 1.5 million is not even the entire cost and that the rest of the cost is being put in by another company. However a lot of crowdfunding does tend to gain a lot of momentum towards the end, so there is a chance they'll make it!
