Dark Souls 1 Setup

Cohh, the process to get Dark Souls 1 playable on W7-W10 - with the use of an X-Box One controller - was rather simple for me, if not a little confusing at first.
To begin, go into steam and right-click DS1 then go to "Properties"
Next, go to the Betas tab, and select -dsptde2.0- - Steam Build 2.0
- This removes the GFWL components and allows use of the single mod needed to run the game
Give it the 2 minutes or so it will need to update, and then follow this link - http://bit.ly/1SX361B
(it will take you to nexusmods, with the required mod download, DSFix 2.4)
Follow the instructions (one tab over from the downloadable file)
That is basically all you have to do, but take note that in-game, you might need to turn off anti-aliasing to avoid a rather silly UI/Visual bug.
The game goes from 100% unplayable to being an enjoyable, hiccup free experience
(also the mod unlocks 60fps)
