Hey guys I just wanted to ask a question is the FX-8350 (Zambezi) good for streaming I currently have a AMD fx 6120 it is 3 cores multi thread to 6 good on some games but it is unable to do streaming and game and speeds up at stupid times and it gets annoying after a while. And I would ask around but I rather have real games and people that know their stuff.

Can I ask why you have 10gb of ram ? Its a very strange number. Do you have 2 sticks of 4gb and 1 stick of 2gb ? That could also be a reason why you are struggling to stream, I would recommend 16gb of ram or more for streaming. As streaming is not just about the CPU, If there is a bottleneck somewhere it won't matter if you upgrade your CPU, you will still get performance issues.

Hello there

,
the question is still how large your budget is. Even if you bought the cpu yet. Streaming isn't just a performance issue that is adressed by upgrading your cpu or your graphics card. It affects all the other components as well. 10 GB is indeed a weird config so I would guess thisisketts is right 2x 4gb and one 2gb. 16 gb or more of ram is never a bad thing especially with modern games. I would suggest to try it with your new cpu if it still isn't enough, try upgrading RAM.
cheers,
Ikarit
