Hello all, it's been since begining of November 2015 after i've upgraded my CPU, motherboard & Graphic card that i'm stuck with a window message in the lower right of my monitor.

It say: Activate Windows (in french but...) Accédez aux paramètres pour activer Windows.

Since i have a VALID and LEGAL serial # of windows 7 pro, i van't understand why it keep saying that my WINDOW 7 pro # key is not valid to update and activate my WINDOW 10 again ?

I've updated to a free WIN 10 "BEFORE" upgrading my stuff ... so i can't find any method of correcting this on the FAQ of Microsoft.

Hello there
the way Win 10 activation works is it makes a checksum out of the core components of your PC. So if you upgrade a lot of parts of your PC you'll need to validate that you're not using 2 copys at a time. It should give you an option to call Microsoft activation service so you can activate your Windows copy without problems as long as you aren't using the upgraded windows 10 key on 2 machines. Just give them a free call and they'll give you the activation key for free. Keep the Windows 7 key you used for upgrade and the windows 10 key of your machine (you can google tools that can read them out) at hand when you call and you should be good to go.
