So, watching Cohh play Dark Souls 2 as a Samurai have made me wanna do that in DS1, anyone know any good armor? I know about the merchant with the Uchigatana. Also, what stats should I focus on? You know, since DS is complicated and Im a dummy

In Dark Souls, Dex builds are fairly simple and straightforward. Only get enough Str to use the weapons you want. Dex is your primary damage Stat capping out at around 40. You need plenty of Endurance to have the stamina to roll around and still attack and being a no shield build, Vitality is important. 40 Vit, 25 End, and 40 Dex will get you what you need honestly.

Now armor is a whole other matter due to DS1 lacking good looking armor for Samurai. http://darksouls.wdfiles.com/local--fil ... -large.jpg This about as close as you can get. Found on a dead body in the Darkroot Garden on the other side of the Crest door near the cliff side overlooking the Hydra boss.

Okay what I just managed to do... Im still shaking I have to tell. I went with Wanderer because he got a curved weapon. Well I still am using that same armor (Unupgraded) lvl 21 with the Uchigatana +4. I just 1 shot the Bell Gargoyles boss without help. In the past I've had to have help with those Gargoyles. How I managed I dont know. Im still shaking. Its the power of the Samurai *Continues to shake*
