Help with streaming

Hey wonderfull Cohhilition-members!

Cohh has inspired me to try out the streaming myself (obviously as a hobby).
I've got a descent system, which should be able to capture and stream in good quality. However everytime I try to, it gets really muddy/low quality. No lagging or anything, but the picture is so blurred, it is unwatchable.

I've got 70/10MBit/s internet, will that be it or is there something in OBS, I've completely missed?

I'm looking for some kind of guide to set up OBS correctly.

I hope some of you masterminds, might be able to help out :)

That should have everything you need. :)

Sorry for the delay on this, I've been really busy today.

If you are still having issues, I would recommend this guy's video tutorials for OBS studio. They will help quite a bit. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=P ... okkRrQqer2

Depending on the games you play it is sometimes necessary to change some of the settings in OBS. Specially when playing fast movement games like 1st/3rd person shooters. You stand still and the picture looks great, but when you start moving around it looks all pixelated.

Some key settings you might want to mess around with:
  • x264 CPU preset
  • Max bitrate (kb/s)
  • and somewhat obvious, FPS and Resolution
