2015 vs. 2016

Last year we had Witcher 3 and Fallout 4, both amazing games that I'm STILL playing. This year has felt really dry for the rpg style games and it looks like it will be throughout 2016. Am I missing something or does this look to be a very down year for us RPG'ers?

I don't think you were looking hard enough. For record these all are RPG's however each with a different take on it.
  • Dark Souls 3
  • Deus Ex Mankind Divided
  • Final Fantasy XV
  • Horizon Zero Dawn
  • Kingdom Come Deliverance
  • Torment Tides of Numenera
  • Nier Automata
  • Divinity Orignal Sin 2
  • Grim Dawn
  • Kingdom Hearts 2.8

I agree about Dark Souls and Deus Ex.
The rest are not of the same level as a Witcher or Fallout.
So I guess it's 2 and 2 (Final Fantasy has been beaten to death imho)
I was indeed looking forward to Deus, but I'd totally forgotten Dark Souls! Thanks for the reminder.
Cheers,
Brat

Dishonored 2 assuming it comes out should be on the list. Too bad Mass Effect looks like 2017 now.

Really hoping Deus Ex is a great game. Also don't forget E3 could be a game changer. This time last year Fallout 4 was nothing more then rumors.

Besides waiting on E3 announcements there isn't much I'm looking forward to this year. The only game that I'm actually looking forward to playing probably won't release till 2017, and that's Ghost Recon: Wildlands.
