Expanding on Cohh's Witcher School Idea

It's 30-40yrs later and Ciri, now Empress, has mastered her powers to the point where she can not only jump between dimensions at will but understands where they exist in relation to one another and sees another Great Conjunction coming. She uses her authority to gather the remnants of the various Witcher schools in order to recreate the profession.

The new school will face many new choices:

Given the deadly nature of the trial of the grasses a less lethal but also less potent method of creating witchers is found. Using the old methods will result in stronger witchers but will face difficulties recruiting from the populace unwilling to risk their children. Choosing one or the other will create divisions among the remaining witchers thereby potentially losing out on certain school proprietary secrets.

There will also be support or opposition from the other kingdoms, religions, organizations, etc.

Perhaps a budding science might aid or thwart the new school. After all, an alchemy that can create bombs and a smithy that can create armor is not so far off from guns and other basic machinery.

New witchers might be sent out on quests to gain experience fighting indigenous monsters to start but would eventually pass through portals to the incoming dimensions to fight and gather intel on the incoming threats.

Gameplay could switch between Ciri directing the school and dealing w/politics w/the advice of the council of witchers and command of a team of maybe 4 witchers on training/recon assignment. Experience gained by the team would allow for the individual witchers to learn new skills mixing and matching from the various schools to create the most effective team possible.

This is all I can think of at the moment. Let me know what you think. Who knows? Maybe someone at CD Projekt RED will take a look and incorporate some of what we come up with.
