I'm looking for some new anime and manga to read since my fav (which is Berserk) has been on hiatus for a few months. Any suggestions from my fellow anime/manga lovers?

Don't read Mangas but my fav animes are probably Death Note or Sword Art Online, Currently going to be trying to watch: Soul Eater, Full Metal Panic! & Busou Renkin

SAO was awesome. I very much enjoyed "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya", as well.

I watched SAO and I enjoyed it and I've seen Busou Renkin, Death Note, and Soul Eater. All great animes and you're gonna love those 3... check out Angel Beats after you're done with those

I've watched SAO too, it was really awesome. Haruhi is awesome too, I should really watch the second season already

What the....No "Now and Then, Here and There"? "Death Note" is easily one of the best anime for its genre. Manga wise, check out the following:

I could probably name like 20+ more that are amazing, but these are the ones that I've recently read/keep up on. They should keep you busy for a while, depending on how much time you have to read them. I Obviously didn't include One Piece, Bleach, Naruto and Fairy Tail, because I assume that everyone already reads them due to the popularity.

I've only heard good of them. It only matters on your preferances. Hunter x Hunter is an older series so if you like the newer style than watch that. :3
Darker than Black is one of the best completed series imho. Actually all of the series you mentioned are worth watching

Both to put it simply :p

My favorite anime is Gintama, never laughed at anything as much. I recommend it. The first few episodes might feel weird but you won't regret continuing.

How much episodes? Most of my friends stopped at the Sennenryu filler, which is really really bad. I almost dropped it there too. After the Skypiea arc it gets really awesome. Water 7 arc is one of the best and it only gets better after that.

Why form an opinion of a now 600 episode long anime based on 10 episodes?
Anyway, you should really try to watch it until at least the 60th episode. It really is a masterpiece(even though it starts to shine at around the 100-200th episode )

Because first impressions go a long way, and you never get a second chance to make a first impression - It's just always stuck with me that I didn't enjoy it.

Just watched the now 16 episodes of Shingeki no Kyojin and I have to say it's SOO GOOD.
