Hey guys, i would like some help here. Recently i have noticed that my pc is vibrating a bit more than usual. As i am not anywhere near expert when it comes to these things, should i be worried? If so, what components should i check to see what might be causing this?

On an other note, i have been searching online for a liquid cooling system for my CPU and GPU [ i7-4790K and GTX 980] but there are so many different suggestions that gave me a headache. Do you guys have any valid recommendation, something that you might be using yourself and you are happy with it's functionality.

Thanks in advance ^^

The most common thing for vibrations in a computer is a fan. The issue is that if your computer runs hot, the fan may not cool as well as it should. I would check to see if you can pinpoint the noise. If it is a fan, but it still runs, then it may just be annoying to hear.

As for the water cooling, I use an all in one unit from intel. Please note that one is just as an example and may not work on your computer.

Good Luck and Cheers!

you can try cleaning all the fans and then tighten their screws. Also be sure that there is nothing else on the table with your pc that might cause the vibrations.

Thanks for the help guys. I will try cleaning the fans, and generally the whole case and check all the screws, and then see if that fixes the issue. I am pretty sure the vibration comes from the CPU's cooler though, so it's a good thing i plan on replacing it anyway.

Check also if you have an a/c or a fun hits case and doesn't allow the air to flow nicely. Static air may cases the hitting problem you are experiencing
