I currently have two HP 23 inch monitors on my current system(running at 1920 * 1080)

Looking at building a new pc for gaming and editing and vr down the line so i am looking at running two Nvidia 1080's in SLI, i was also thinking of a new 1440P 144 htz monitor for the new main screen.

So my question is running 3 monitors 2 at 1080 and one at 1440 is possible and will there be any issues. Also i have never had a SLI setup , do you run all three monitors through the first card only?

I have a 2 monitor setup, both at 144hz but one is 1440p and one is 1080p. They both run fine on my single 1080.

The only real problem is (if you call it one) is when you move your mouse from one to the other they don't line up.

I believe you have to plug all the monitors into the primary card, I'm not 100% sure but thats how my old 980 sli rig is setup atm.
