I was on the fence about buying No Mans Sky and watching your twitch feeds over the last two days have cemented my need for this beautiful game. I do my due diligence and try to get good advice before I purchase a game. My 24 year old daughter pointed this game out to me as she knows I like exploring. The steam forums were practically worthless for info about the game on launch day and even today. I watched others streaming this game on twitch and most just did not get the game or were having video issues.
I watched most of what you did and have learned incredible amounts of helpful information both about the type of game it is and about whether or not I would enjoy it. Now I know I will enjoy it and thanks to you I will hopefully make a lot less mistakes starting out.
Now about your twitch recording about 7 Days to Die, here I could have helped you out immensely and it would not have been so painful to watch your first moments in the game. I actually could not sit thru watching that recording. I hope you actually put enough hours into that game to do it justice. The modding community is amazing and it is still in early access. 1700+ hours later I think I got my $20 worth of entertainment for that game. Outside of some Civ games I doubt I have played many games longer other than the original Steel Panthers and the later community free version Steel Panthers World at War.
Thanks again for providing a great twitch stream of No Mans Sky and if you ever need anything in 7dtd, just ask. I am usually wwiiogre but here it would not let me use that tag.
