I was permanently banned from Chat a couple weeks ago even though I honestly don't know why.

I suspect it's because I'm in Chat with a selfmade IRC Client and it happened in the bast that it bugged and posted some weird string in chat. But I used it for months and didn't have any bugs so I don't know what happened now.

The thing is I put in an unban request like 2 weeks ago and it's still unanswered. I'm sure I wasn't banned because I said something bad in Chat or anything. I don't wanna annoy but it seems my request has fallen through the cracks or you decided not to unban me. In that case I would love if you could send me my last few things said in Chat so that I can fix the possible bug in my IRC Chat Client.

Help would be very much appreciated. If you are just slammed with unban requests and it takes that long to answer them, then im sorry for posting this thread. But since theres no other way of contacting someone other than through here or through donating Cohh I thought I'll just try my luck here. I'm really mostly a lurker anyway but I would still love it if I could Chat again

We reply to unban requests via Twitch PM. You have yours disabled; therefore, you did not receive a reply.

Contact me via PM, either here or on Twitch, and we can get it sorted.

After discussing this with other moderators, we attempted to deal with your Unban request and as nuuriell points out we cannot reply to your unban request, because you do no accept Private Messages on the Twitch website.

Further more, you appear to be running an Automated giveaway bot, this is unfair on others since you are entering every giveaway willy nilly and since you don't accept PM's we cannot even send you your prize.

As a result of this automated giveaway bot, your bot misfired at 6:10am (COHHST) on the 28th off a message that was not giveaway related and as such you were banned from the chat. I attempted to contact you to point out your unwelcome bot was not working correctly.

But of course, you do not accept PM's on the Twitch website.

It is worth noting that running a bot on a channel without the channel owners permission whilst not against Twitch TOS, is EXTREMELY frowned upon in the developer community and can lead to your account being reported and perhaps banned for running a bot that is not welcome in the channel.

Given that you are running a unwelcome Giveaway bot and we cannot contact you for prize delivery or as part of your unban request, we are not currently inclined to accept your unban request at this time.

For this particular case, we will be unbanning you Suupar. However, we're instituting a new, completely clear rule that will result in a permanent ban if we detect any bots are being used to enter or claim giveaways. If this same event happened after today, this ban would be permanent. However, since the rule didn't exist before this issue, this is your freebie

I am accpeting PMs on Twitch though, I have never turned the Setting off I only don't accept whispers if thats what you mean.

I mean I did win some giveaways in the Past and I always received a message. I actually looked at all of Cohhs Channel Rules before I set up that bot and I also looked at the TOS and nowhere I saw anything mentioning it or saying it's not allowed.

I obviously can see why it could be seen as unfair and even If you don't believe me I wouldn't have accepted giveaway wins of stuff that I didn't want or need.
I honestly didn't know this was forbidden on the Channel so Sorry about that. I will obviously stop using the automatic giveaway function that's the only thing the bot does. It's original purpose was just being Online in the Chat constantly so I would get tokens which is not forbidden I hope

Oh btw The Bot never automatically claimed any giveaways it just entered so I would have control over maybe getting something I don't want. Sorry for doing that and thanks for giving me a Pass on this one
