Steam Machine Prototypes Come Bundled With Metro: Last Light

The Steam Machine prototypes that will be sent out to eligible Steam users later this year will come bundled with a free copy of first-person shooter Metro: Last Light, publisher Deep Silver has announced.
In September, Valve invited Steam users interested in beta testing its new hardware to register through Steam by completing a number of steps, such as playing a game in Big Picture mode and joining a certain group. Of those who completed all of the necessary steps, 300 will be chosen to receive the prototype hardware, which consists of both PC hardware designed for use with a television in a living room-type setting and the Steam Controller. One of the goals with the controller is to make something suitable for all types of PC games; by including a copy of Last Light, beta testers will be able to see how it holds up when playing a first-person shooter regardless of whether or not they already have any FPSes in their Steam library.
