The Cohhilition

In adventure game circles, Jane Jensen’s name is uttered with a reverence befitting a giant of the medium. As part of Sierra On-Line’s glory days of adventure gaming, her creation of the thought-provoking Gabriel Knight trilogy of supernatural adventures alone would be enough to get her face carved into Mount Adventure (if there was such a thing). The 20th Anniversary remake of Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers - set for a mid-2014 release - is certainly reason to celebrate, but the designer/writer isn’t going to make you wait that long for her uniquely literate slant on point-and-click adventuring. Moebius, a “metaphysical thriller” coming this January, seems to be cast from a very similar mold as the one that spawned a certain cajun bookstore owner.
