Team17 Becomes A Publisher Again

Best known for its work on the Worms franchise, Team17 is returning to third-party publishing, after two decades away.
The company actually started life as a publisher, overseeing the release of such classic titles as Alien Breed, Superfrog, and Super Stardust.
The first game to be published by Team17 during this second spell will be indie game Light, which is being developed by Brighton based Just a Pixel. The game is currently in Steam Greenlight, meaning users can vote whether they'd like the game added to Steam proper. You can watch the trailer below:
So why is Team17 returning to the publishing sphere? In a press release, Team17 said it "has an incredible community running into many millions that we can cross-promote within and raise awareness for new IPs and specifically indie games, which are very close to our hearts and something we stand up for.
