Hey guys and gals, I was just curious if anyone among the Cohhmunity is planning on playing Wildstar like myself and if there is a decent amount of us playing it, maybe we could start a Cohhilition Guild? (or do we need permission to do that from our lord and saviour Cohh?).

If not I know I will still definitely be playing Wildstar. Also as a side note, if you have been living under a rock and don't know what Wildstar is you should check it out! http://www.wildstar-online.com/

I have also signed up for the beta, and I haven't been given a key so far either. :-\
Have you decided whether you are going to be joining the Dominion or the Exiles?

Will be attempting to play it sometime this week as they are doing a small ''stress'' test beta, but I will probably wait till they do a proper beta before I decide if I'm going to be playing Wildstar as it doesn't look that interesting - Just hotkey based combat with a minor dodge mechanic and probably generic quest.

I really don't want to start a war over this, but the game looks pretty unique with the telegraph combat system. Not to mention the other marvelous features like paths, player housing, warplots, hopefully a very rich lore and I even heard rumors of 40 man raids.

I'm all aboard the Hype train for this game with some of the developers being former Blizzard employees, not to mention I absolutely love the art style. Only thing I'm a bit cautious about is NCSOFT; after what they did to the Guild Wars 2 in-game cash shop.

Why? what did they do to the GW2 shop?

During the Beta for Guild Wars 2 they had stated that the cash shop would only sell stuff that is purely cosmetical items, although a couple days after full release you could buy gold with real life cash and continued to add items like the infinite gathering tools.

NCSOFT is like the South Korean version of EA; they just want to fill their pockets... but anyway this is getting off topic. :D

Well its not really offtopic since NCSoft has the final word on Wildstar. :P

Aren't most of the good weapons and gear bought via Karma - or whatever it's called? I hardly found a use for gold when I played it, But I only hit Lv 35.

you use gold on the Auction House to buy pretty much anything including legendary weapons, so being able to buy gold with real life money is a big problem.

That all depends really, PvE is separate from PvP so wouldn't it just mean that people are just taking a shortcut.

Also acidicpure in Guild wars 2, structured PvP was seperate from PvE but WvWvW PvP used the same gear as the Open World/PvE so you could still essentially Pay 2 Win.

That's why I am sorta iffy about NCSOFT, I really hope they don't do the same with Wildstar.

Well, wasn't WvW just a huge zergfest, one person with epic gear prob wouldn't of made that much of a dent?

Hey Narmm, yeah I hope so too; it's looking like an amazing game with a dev team with years of experience and a love for what they do!

I thought I saw somewhere the release date will be spring 2014. We have a bit too wait.

Yeah, It got pushed back to spring 2014... which wasn't a smart idea considering it will have to compete with probably the new WoW xpac, Elder scrolls online and not to mention a heap of other games. On the other hand, if a game isn't ready it shouldn't be released.
