Q: Did the previous whitelist go bonkers? do we need to get whitelisted again?A : It did NOT! We simply implemented this program so that people can get on the whitelist in a more "asynchronous" manner, given that there's not a lot of activity on the RUST servers atm and the admins have other things to attend. So this way of doing it makes is possible for the RUST admins to go in, mass-whitelist-ppl in one swoop instead of the user-a mod-a rust admin having to be online at the same time
2. Follow these steps to retrieve your Steam ID :
Open a browser tab with http://steamidfinder.com/
Log in to Steam via their website and go to Profile - View Profile (RED BOX in pic) - Now copy-paste the linkname (GREEN BOX in pic) into Steam ID Finder's Search box. Click the Magnifying Glass.
Now you have your Steam ID (BLUE BOX in pic) !!
3. Make a reply to this topic containing your SteamName, Steam ID and Twitchname here if you qualify for whitelisting (1k tokens for non-subs, 500 for subs)
4. Wait for a day or less and Ashardis & the RUST admins will get around to you!
I (Ashardis or maybe other mods) will check your token status and add you to THIS post and delete your submission reply.
Then AADiC or the8am8am (Bambam) will reply with the names of ppl they've added to the whitelist and I'll remove the names from this post!
WHEN YOU HAVE BEEN ADDED TO THE WHITELIST - Check your forum conversations and we have a conversation about the server IP/command there!
