I feel this is quite important information for Cohh as a lot of giveaways happen in his channel and I'd hate for him to get the bad end of the stick because of it.
Sadly because Twitch has to apply the laws of the state they are in, us Europeans can no longer participate in giveaways on Twitch. Also it becomes very difficult for streamers to even do giveaways as they have to be able to verify the winner is 18+ and a US resident.
Apparently (as you can read) this change has been in the ToS longer but is now surfacing. Just putting it here in case Cohh hasn't heard about it yet, as I said, I'd hate to have Cohh be punished because of it.

The thing I dont understand (Donate to get into a giveaway I get, never would do that anyway) But being 18+ and in the US, HOW can they enforce that? How can I enforce that? What am I gonna do get their name and number and look them up? This seems impossible to enforce, which leads me to believe they wont enforce it. If a guy wins a give away, who lives in the UK, and is 17 years old, how is anyone gonna know that? Anyone can lie to you, I just...dont see how this is possible.

i believe they need to provide i.d to validate that they are 18+ and living in the u.s im not entirely sure how it works but i know that it blows

Seems you cannot do Sub giveaways anymore what i unerstand because real money is involved and i guess it could be seen as gambling
But here its gonna be complicated if you need to live in the US and be 18+ because with the giveaway system in place now the person doing the givawat might be from like EU or Austrailia so the broadcaster isnt involved so will the requirements for the US citizen and 18+ be still valid or will we use the persons own countrys laws on the giveway ?
Tho if Cohh wanted to do a giveaway at the moment he would need to get the game from the person who donated it and do the giveaway and then check the winners age and location.
Hope there will be some clarification from twitch end about international giveaways soon ! Twitch should had some rules from giveaways before this really for the intternational ones or maybe the US only was enough and they didnt wanna waste money/time looking into it what is a shame!
