Um what case did he get or is he just using the old one to put this stuff in?

Personally I would of changed some things and put the money saved into other parts. At least to me that $300 case doesn't really offer anything you can't get in a $100-$150 case.

If money is available then I'd recommend a Samsung Evo 1tb SSD as well for good measure

Looks good to me... I'm more a proponent of the Fractal Design cases rather than the massive Obsidian case!

I would switch out the SSD for a Samsung 840 evo. Similar stats and cheaper. As for the monitor, I just got myself a Asus vg248qe 24" 144hz 1ms widescreen LED. It is wonderful!

I would probably take a 120GB SSD for just the OS. And then another one for main games for increased performance and faster loading times. Like 240-500gb secondary. I can tell with experience that games on SSD run better/faster than in a regular HDD.

For the monitors, ASUS is supposed to be releasing factory gsync enabled monitors (~$400) by the middle of the year. You may want to hold off and buy a couple of those when they come out. Take advantage of that hardware level screen refresh...

I agree with Ctrl, and would drop the case down a bit, maybe to something like the CoolerMaster HAF 932 or Rosewill Thor V2. They are still full tower cases, so there is plenty of room for messing with cables, etc., but they are roughly half the price.

For a mouse, if going with Razer, a DeathAdder would be a good choice, they are very solid.

I would keep the 256GB SSD and still only use it for the OS, I have a feeling 128 may not be enough space as windows keeps getting bigger. A 1tb internal HDD is the minimum size I recommend (2tb would better if you find a good deal) because with all the games Cohh plays, the more space the better.

Cohh About the issue everyone is having with the OEM. None of the reputable retailers are offering the full retail version of Windows 7 64 pro. You would have to go through ebay or some non reputable outlet. The only difference between the OEM you would get off of New-Egg and the full retail is the microsoft support. With the system builder OEM the person that puts the pc together has to provide the support, microsoft will not support it.

Heard that the H100i can be a bit noisy plus he streams and games for long periods of time, might wanna look at the NZXT Kraken x60. It runs just a bit cooler, but could be negligible. Other than that it seems like a VERY solid build that should last a while. Plus it has some scalability too.

Go with the Razer DeathAdder 2013, it's probably the best mouse on the market.

Might be a little late to mention, but seeing as he is not using multi-monitor gaming and just needs the other monitor for all the windows open while streaming, wouldn't it be better to have 1 monitor being a 2560x1440 monitor for the non-gaming monitor for the increased desktop real estate for the open windows. Might make having all those windows open more bearable on only 2 monitor setup.

Cohh's heading for a 3 monitor setup.. one for chat, one for stream/browser shizzle.. and ofc 1 for gaming

Going to be tuning the build throughout the day tomorrow. Looking at getting a different case, maybe adding another SSD and possibly switching the heatsink.

Would a Stock heatsink be unfeasible in this build, you think? I don't plan on doing any overclocking.

only thing i can think of to change on the top post is to go with something like the Fractal Design Define XL R2 Enthusiast case for the sound dampenning foam and if your not overclocking maybe switch out for a corsair h80i and a Noctua NF - F12 to replace the stock fan on it, mount it on the back and putting 2x Noctua NF -s12a uln 120mm case fans on the front as intake and do not use any of the stock fans. This would make for a very quite rig and with the 2 fans on the front as intake and the 120mm water cooler set as outtake would make for some nice positive airflow to help keep the dust out. Feel free to swap fan choices if someone knows a better one, just from my experience the Noctua's work really well and are very quiet, only down side is they are ugly as hell
