Monitor: At this point would like to connect to tv through HDMI but may look at two monitors and go with desk setup. (dual monitor setup will be in the future perhaps so would like the option and it would be outside my budget at this time.)

I am looking to design a gaming rig using the BitFenix Prodigy (Black) Mini ITX Tower Case. I want it to be low profile as it will be sitting in my entertainment room until I can later afford to purchase two monitors and would like it to be portable as well. I have seen several builds and attempted to put together my own build (http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/3ysXf) based on those but would totally appreciate feedback from the community. Any help would be greatly appreciated and I give you my thanks in advance.

Firstly, I changed the CPU from the T-version to the non-T; reason being, if you want to play games with this, you can do with all the performance you can get. The regular 4130 is more powerful and yet cheaper, its a win-win.
I've also changed the motherboard to something with almost identical features, but a bit better reviews and a lower price.
Next would be the ram, only because I wanted to get you something cheaper or something with better performance.
I also changed the GPU to a 750ti instead of the 650; this will also give you better performance and it will still fit within your case.
Lastly I changed the Bluray drive, mainly because when it comes to these, you don't need the biggest and baddest, so I found something a bit cheaper.
I've kept the HDD, case (of course), PSU and OS the same as I see no reason these would be bad to get.

As a side note on the CPU, you could easily jump to something like an i5-4570 (it would put you over your budget though), which will increase performance in those games you have listed, but it may not be enough to justify the purchase, as the i3/750ti combo will be enough for mid range graphics.

Now I know the different CPU and GPU I've chosen do use more power, but not by much, and with normal usage, you will most likely not notice this anyways.
I will note though, that according to a couple reviews (from Anandtech and Tom's Hardware) on the BitFenix Prodigy case, that the PSU physical size is limited and your Corsair PSU may be slightly too large (by only 2-3mm), but being 450W will be no problem at all.

Thanks thelg59. I really appreciate your response and advice. I am looking at all the suggestions and think I will go with the i5-4570. A little more now but would be worth it down the road. I also looked into the PSU in greater detail and I believe it will fit in the case. Thanks again.
