Some information on Keys and Account regions:

1) Each account has a region associated
2) Each key has a region associated
3) EU Keys can only be added to EU Accounts, NA Keys can only be added to NA accounts
4) Wildstar Customer Support can change your account region, they CANNOT change the region of the key
5) If you already assigned a key to your account, your region cannot be changed, you will have to get a new account, a new key for the appropriate region (or be really lucky with arguing with customer support, but dont bet on it)

Steps what to do when you are in a EU region and want to play the NA version:
1a) Contact CS to have them change your account to NA region, reference the following below:

Because of your location, your appropriate region is indeed EU. However, as you have stated that you prefer to play in the NA region, we can make you the following offer. Please note that this is a one-time offer for existing beta accountholders. If you accept this offer we will be changing your game account from EU to NA.Please understand that once this change is made, the game account’s currency will be US Dollars ($) and this cannot be changed. Additionally, once this change is made, any serial codes, game time cards, expansions, or perk codes that are applied to the account in the future will need to have been issued for your game account’s new Territory. 1b) Optionally you can just create a new account with a proxy on the NA region if you dont have an account yet or don't mind making a new one. This might be faster as you don't have to wait for customer support to change it.

2) get a NA key from a retailer or a friend living in the US, you might get the keys from places like G2A.com or use a VPN / Proxy to get them from amazon etc. (I dont recommend the Proxy as it can get you into trouble with the TOS, but your choice) make sure you really have an NA key and not an EU key

3) Add your NA key to your account that is switched to NA now.

4) Enjoy the game

a.k.a. this is stupid and no AAA mmo nowadays should have issues with people around the world playing together.

We do not have the ability to change the territory for a WildStar serial code. The NCSOFT/WildStar store automatically generates a code for the proper territory you are located in. If you would like to have a NA account while playing from an EU region, the only way to accomplish this is to purchase a serial code from an authorized NA retailer.

If you have already purchased the game from us and wish to obtain a refund due to this reason, please provide the following information:

• Your WildStar purchase Order ID provided in the receipt of the purchase(s)
• The e-mail address you used when making the purchase
• If paid by Credit/Debit Card: the last four digits (only the last four, please) of the card
• If paid by PayPal®: the Invoice ID from your PayPal® payment history
• Your billing zip code or postal code

Please note that if you have already created a game account issuing a refund will permanently ban the WildStar game account on your NC Account. Since you can only have one WildStar account per NC Account, if you wish to create a new account in the future you would then have to create a new NC Account using a different email address.
