[Wildstar] To Wildstar or not to Wildstar?

I have been hearing a lot of good things about this game. I also hear there is a lot of good end game content.
Since you guys are in the trenches, I was wondering what you all thought about it? I've done my fair share of dark age of camelot, world of warcraft, the diablo series, guildwars, and so on. I have been steering clear of these types of games lately because there hasn't been any innovation and feels like the usual leveling treadmill, just set in another universe.
There is 20% off on gmg (coupon), or should I invest the money towards something in the steam sale?
