To those that Stream

I'm curious as to how you set-up your monitors and windows. while I only currently operate on a two monitor system one is forced to be at a lower resolution than the other so room for OBS/Twitch/IRC and such feels so small and it makes finding out how just followed somewhat difficult.

So I'm curious, how do you set things up?

I only use a two monitor system (Gotta get another video card to get my third monitor online) but my second monitor is a vertical monitor. Highly recommend it! Not only is it useful for streaming, it helps when reading long articles, books, etc. Only caveat is when trying to watch things full screen. There's plenty of room for me to fit all my windows. I can fit my internet browser, Twitch Chat, OBS window, and Donations window all on the Vertical monitor without it being tiny. My internet browser has to have multiple tabs open but I rarely have to switch between them anyways. I also have MIRC open for my bot but that's underneath my Twitch chat since I rarely need to switch over to it. If I needed to I could make more room for something else but I'd have to shrink my internet browser that's all.

If you're finding it hard to keep track of who followed I suggest Moobot. I use a custom bot but MooBot's activity window keeps track of who follows and can also have a sound notification which is nice.

Here's what it looks like (Sorry picture isn't great):

Look Ma! I'm on the other monitor! I'm famous! =D

I really should attempt to grab a vertical monitor then...
I don't really need to worry about follower notifications since I do use NightDev's Follower system which gives me a fancy FF style victory tune but I'll look into MooBot to see if it's any easier.
If anything I guess it's just trying to find something that works until I can get the money needed for something vertical.

Oh no I use NightDev too. Just haven't used the sound portion of it yet haha. And yah it's a good investment, albeit slightly on the more expensive side.
