A few days ago Nvidia announced a mid September launch for the, "GTX 880" with a speculated pricing point at around 400 - 450$. (Edit: a few weeks after the paper launch.)
This places it's hardware quality (guesstimating here) around the 780, and maybe replacing the 770....
It will run on Nvidia's current architecture.
What are your thoughts?
I think this is a good business strategy; AMD isn't exactly screaming on their door with a new card. Also it sets them up to fix the new flagship card.
