A few days ago Nvidia announced a mid September launch for the, "GTX 880" with a speculated pricing point at around 400 - 450$. (Edit: a few weeks after the paper launch.)
This places it's hardware quality (guesstimating here) around the 780, and maybe replacing the 770....

It will run on Nvidia's current architecture.

What are your thoughts?
I think this is a good business strategy; AMD isn't exactly screaming on their door with a new card. Also it sets them up to fix the new flagship card.

i think it may be a good card but i think the rumored 256 bus is to little, the age of 4k is coming and we need more memmory and more memmoryspeed. the price seems meh, if its a 770,why? 780 peformance would be okay
