Entry 14: Day 43, aboard the Victoria VII, somewhere in space.
My eyes grow darker every day. One would think it was due to lack of sleep, but I know its my separation from the star I was assigned to. I seem to be building a resistance to the temperature, but I fear for my companion.
The other two human crew members were killed in the explosion, only leaving XΓo¥, who cannot speak my tongue, and Tony. I am losing faith in survival, and the lack of communication is starving.
Tomorrow, I will attempt to access the engine room and begin repairs, but I doubt how successful I will be. The 3rd quadrant is completely inaccessible to me, but XΓo¥ scavenged for goods and plans on making another run through while I attempt repairs.
Water, clothes and toiletries are all well in stock, but we are running low on food. XΓo¥ eats minimally, and Tony seems to enjoy what food I can find for us. Soon, however, I will be unable to feed my companion. This might be his last log.
Signing out, Captain Bostick of the Victoria VII.
