Hey Everyone,

I usually play all out healers in MMOs, but in other games you can get away with leveling quickly with your healing build. I thought I had a few options for leveling in AA, but they no longer look viable. Does anyone have any updated suggestions for leveling a healer with the current state of the game? Thanks in advance!

I typically heal endgame but have always leveled DPS due to it being much more efficient. Everything I'm reading suggests the same holds true here, even much more so.

Do you recommend a DPS build that would work well and still get me some exp to the healing trees?

Leveling pure healer will hinder your leveling speed. Re-levelling skills doesn't really take too long, especially if you do gathering or crafting in your spare time. But take Vitalism for sure. You could also take a skill tree such as Songcraft for more group heal/utility but I'm not super familiar with that skill tree.

Really just pick what you think looks fun . Tons of skill trees you can mess around with.

Thanks! I swapped to a shaman for now. When I'm higher I'll swap in Songcraft so it's leveled by 50. Thanks for the info!

I was healer to some part, but I changed to full dps, because you really get a hard time leveling, if you don't do enough dmg. It's more recommended to play healer, if you are Lvl. 50.

Seems like the general consensus is level with a group as a full healer, or take your main healing tree, vitalism, with other DPS trees if you're going to solo. At 50, or near max since you'll probably find more groups after 40 in those world pvp areas, use labor points and just farm exp in those trees. Hear it takes awhile, but so does leveling as a full healer solo.

We have many guild members around me now. I may just swap to full healing. The hybrid heal/dps seems to be the weak ends of both.
