Help with upgrades

Hi I'm Jeks and I;m looking to stream for fun and was interested on how to best upgrade my PC.

There's what I currently have;
Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2100 CPU @ 3.10GHz

Video CardNVIDIA GeForce GTX 560

Dedicated Memory1.0 GB
Total Memory4.0 GB

Memory8.2 GB
Operating SystemMicrosoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition Service Pack 1 (build 7601), 64-bit

Display Maximum Resolution1920 x 1080 x2 I'm running 2 monitors at 1920x1080

I was wondering if I should start from scratch or upgrade my current rig. I think its been 3 years since I originally built it. If I remember right I used the stock cooling fan and I already replaced the power supply once with an older one from a even older build so a new power supply is needed I'm sure.

I have a budget around $700

Thanks for the help!
Jeks

the memmory is ddr3 i guess so i think you can use a bit of that if you want to save money otherwise here is my proposal.

you need to buy the psu and ram tommorow so that you get that 20$ of. then if you have a microcenter closeby you can save 30$.
and if you use your old ram you can save 72$

oooh, I like these types of threads! I will post you my recommendation sooon :)

------ edit ------

Ok, I was confused by your memory listing there, so I just assumed you had 8GB of DDR3 ram.

Reused Parts:
Hard Drive(s)
Case
Memory

New Parts:

I went for the most bang for the buck. This will give you the latest gen 970 video card with the latest gen i5 processor (non-K, not needed unless you want to overclock in which case you will need a diff cooler)

This will allow you to use QuickSync or NVENC to encode without degrading the quality of your game. While it doesn't look as good as x264 it will make your gaming experience much better.

quite good,
i went 60$ over budget and those 60$ went to a ssd which is a musthave. I took a 780 instead of a 970 because they almost got the same peformance but the 780 is cheaper. I also took a new case because i am not sure that he has anything usable plus its 35 bucks and thats good value. Then i took a 4690k its 20$ more(actually cheaper if he has a microcenter around) and the 600w is on promotion and is thereby cheaper.

Edit, forgot the link
